Who we are
EagleEye is a business development tool. The organisation operating it is the data controller for account data. Each user is responsible, as controller, for the prospect and customer data they add to their own workspace; EagleEye processes that data on their behalf.
Contact for privacy questions and requests: [privacy contact email to be confirmed].
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and an encrypted password.
- Business contacts you add: company names, websites, logos, contact names, job titles, work emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn links, notes, follow-up dates and contact history.
- Technical data: sign-in records and basic error logs needed to keep the service secure.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
Contract: to provide your account and send your daily follow-up briefing.
Legitimate interests: storing business contacts' work details to manage business development relationships. Users should only add business contact details and keep notes factual and professional.
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or send marketing from EagleEye to the contacts you store.
Who can see it
Every account is private: only you can see the companies, contacts, leads and notes you add. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under contract and may store it outside the UK with appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses).
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted per user by database rules, logos are stored privately, and the database is backed up daily.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your data is erased immediately; copies in backups expire within about 14 days. We recommend users review and remove leads that are no longer relevant at least every 24 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data, and receive a copy of it. Signed-in users can download all their data and delete their account from the Account page. Business contacts stored in EagleEye can contact the user who holds their details, or us using the address above.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
